Wow.

I went to church at an African- American Revival Tabernacle today with my friend. Aside from some inexcapable inner ear damage it was such a cool experience- to be OUT of my comfort zone. My roots are in pentacostal church- but I've definitely never seen that before. The best thing was the community. I love that the church is SMALL. The only thing I didn't like is that at one point the pastor looked directly at me and said "why look in amazement? She is going to be delivered..." I didn't think I was looking at the woman screaming with too much amazement, but who knows. Definitely could go again. Oh yeah, and bet your church service doesn't last for 3+ hours!

In other news, glad to be done with the longest show ever... finally! Though it was definitely a personally challenging experience. Off to lesson plan.. so worn out.
